MT. KILIMANJARO
Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, and the highest freestanding mountain in the entire world. With enough determination, effort, and a little help from our guides you will ascend to one of nature’s highest peaks. We suggest trekking the Machame route which is considered the most scenic, and along the way you will be accompanied by the most knowledgeable and personable guides available. As part of our service, hot food will be provided for you throughout your hike.

When to climb

The driest month to climb Kilimanjaro is September. However, it is also one of the coldest and busiest. Because Kilimanjaro is such a large mountain, it has its own weather pattern and it often rains on Kilimanjaro when it is not raining elsewhere. You should prepare for rain and have your rain gear with you at all times while on the mountain. For more information please check out Itinerarys.

MT. MERU
Mt. Meru is located in the heart of Arusha National Park and it is 50 miles west of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Mt. Meru is a vast volcano reaching 14,980 feet (4,565 meters). Our walking safari offers you the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, and buffalo, on the lower slopes of the mountain. As you continue your ascent, the trail follows the north rim of the volcano’s crater along a dramatic ridge line. Reaching the summit as the sun is rising, you will have spectactular views of Mt Kilimanjaro and of the Mt. Meru Crater.

When to climb

The best times to climb this peek are from June to February, with occasional rain in November. The best view of Kilimanjaro, the summit and most places in Arusha National Park can be seen during the month of December through to February.

MT. OL DOINYO LENGAI
In a remote corner of Tanzania stands an astonishing mountain called Ol Doinyo Lengai, where lava fountains harden in midair then shatter like glass. Oldoinyo Lengai is an intriguing and distictive live volcano that is located in the Africa rift valley about 120 km North West of Arusha, Tanzania. This tour will take you on a most memorable jouney.

When to climb
